Our Services
Your goals. Your choices. Your support!
A Better Tomorrow Australia provides person-centred NDIS supports for people living with psychosocial disability and complex needs. Our services are flexible, responsive, and tailored to each participant’s goals, circumstances, and capacity.
We work alongside participants to build skills, strengthen independence, and support meaningful participation in everyday life.
Support Coordination
Our Support Coordinators assist participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans, connect with services, and build the skills needed to manage supports over time.
Support Coordination may include:
understanding your NDIS plan and funded supports
connecting with suitable service providers
coordinating supports across multiple services
building capacity to navigate the NDIS
supporting plan reviews, changes, and transitions
Support is delivered in a way that prioritises choice, control, and informed decision-making.
Community Access
Community access support assists participants to engage in social, recreational, and community-based activities that support independence and connection.
This may include:
attending appointments, programs, or activities
building confidence in community settings
developing social and communication skills
increasing participation in meaningful activities
Support is tailored to participant goals and delivered at a pace that feels safe and achievable.
In-Home Support
In-home support assists participants with daily living tasks to support safety, independence, and wellbeing in their own home.
This may include:
assistance with household tasks
support with routines and daily structure
skill development to increase independence
practical support aligned with participant goals
Supports are delivered respectfully and in line with participant preferences and capacity.
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching supports people living with psychosocial disability to work towards recovery-oriented goals and greater independence.
This support focuses on:
building daily living and coping skills
increasing confidence and self-direction
strengthening social and community connections
supporting mental health recovery goals
navigating services and systems
Supports are strengths-based, paced to individual capacity, and responsive to changes in wellbeing.
Counselling (Peer Informed)
Our registered counsellor has lived experience of mental health challenges and the NDIS system, offering a peer-informed approach grounded in shared understanding and practical experience. This approach is intentionally different from traditional counselling and may not be the right fit for everyone, particularly those seeking highly structured or clinical therapy.
Counselling may support participants to:
explore and make sense of lived experiences
build insight and self-understanding
learn coping strategies and emotional regulation skills
work towards personal wellbeing and recovery goals
We aim to be transparent so that participants can make informed choices about whether this is the right fit.
Specialist Support Coordination
Specialist Support Coordinators have additional training and experience supporting participants to navigate complex systems, overcome barriers, manage risk, and access the right supports.
Specialist Support Coordination may suit participants experiencing complex health needs, including mental health concerns, homelessness or housing instability, transition from hospital or institutional settings, children in care or young people leaving care, or involvement with the justice system.
Our Specialist Support Coordinators may assist by:
developing support plans aligned with your goals
liaising with services to ensure supports are in place
providing guidance for informed decision-making
supporting service access and building capacity
